This is when the Guides are Sisters to the Brownies. The older girls will enter- tain for the Brownies their little sisters. All in all we hope this year will be very successful . The Annual November meeting of the C.W.L., will be entertained by a brief resume of the Girl Guides and Ranger organizations . Early last summer the 2 Guide Company went camping. This company camp enabled the following to receive both their Pioneer and Out Door Cook Badges. France Cooke, Georgina Caron, Beverly Legault, Linda Melnyk, and Celine Landry. Accompanying these girls were Mrs. Cvitkovich, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Lambert. Submitted by Beverly Legault. Another year has begun in the life of the Guides. More than 50 girls are enrolled and there are enough leaders to equip both companies land 2. Mrs. Cvitkovich is back again as Captain of the 2 compnay along with Mrs. Anderson as Lieutenant. Company 1 is very fortunate this year to have three new leaders, Mrs. Dakin, Mrs. Caper, Mrs. Conick, and Mrs. Caron is back as Commissioner . This year a section is being added on the guides, Rangers! These girls range from 14 - 18 years of age. We hope this new organization will arouse enthusiasm in many girls. On October 25th, there will be a Bake Sale at Caccamo's Store in Terrace Bay. Proceeds GUIDE AND BROWNIE MEETING The regu!ar monthly meeting of the Local Association | to Guides and Brownies will be held Oct. 27th at 8.30 in the basement of the Community Church. ;
