In atime honored and colorful ceremony J. Douglas District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus, installed a new slate of officers for St. Edwards Council 3554 Kinights of Columbus, on Sunday, October 5th. Officers installed were: R. Chicoine (three years BOCUMENTARY ON TERRACE BAY FOR NOVEMBER Thunder Bay TV Station CKPR have sent word that their camera crew and interviewers will be in Terrace Bay this Thursday to prepare a Documentary Film which will be shown on their Town Talk series the week of November 3rd to 7th. "Moderator of the series, Rev. Ken Moffat, will interview a representa- tive group of citizens at 8 p.m. in the Curling Lounge' and meet and talk with teenagers at 7 p.m. in the Community Church. Town Talk plans similar programs on towns with- in the radius of CKPR broadcasting. The one to be shown the first week in November will feature Terrace Bay and Marathon. Organizations who plan meetings on Thur sday may get some extra publicity if they notify Town Talk of said meeting. Mr. Neil Cornthwaite recently forwarded part of an October edition of the North Bay Nugget which included a Mattawa supplement. On the back page there is a photo of Mrs. A. Hartman, editor of the TONY'S SALON TONY WILL BE ON HOLIDAY FROM OCTOBER 27tm UNTIL NOVEMBER 11th. TONY IS GOING | FO TORONTO TO TAKE AN ADVANCED COURSE IN HAIRDRESSING. HORTICULTURAL HOLDS SOCIAL A seasonal social was arranged by members of Terrace Bay Horticultural Society last Friday evening Held in the Curling Lounge and arranged by H, Hermes the evening proved most enjoyable as those present welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Norman Harrison Society Director of District 14 which includes Atikokan on the West and Manitouwadge to the East. Comic door prizes of vegetables were awarded during the evening and a buffet lunch convened by Mrs. E. Connors was served. SCHREIBER BADMINTON CLUB - A meeting of the Schreiber Bad- minton Club will be held in Holy Angels School on Wednesday October 29th at 7.30 peme Any one interestad please try to attend as registration fees, time, etc. will be discussed at this meeting.
