the District Terrace Bay Town Council met in Council Chambers Tuesday afternoon, with acting Reeve Jack Caccamo in the chair. Minutes were - adopted as read. Correspondence included a letter of complaint from an irate citizen, re service at Ted's Cleaners. Since this was out of Council's jurisdiction, the letter was referred to the Chamber of Commerce. The Department of Highways requested the total construction cost estimate for highway lighting, which is $6800 .,50% of which the town will be responsible for, as well as future maintenance. Kimberly Clark advised Council that Jack ¢ Thomas, Chairman of the E.M.O. had retired ~ and the new chairman will be Jack Chapman. There will be a complete review of the organiza- tion. Monty Paget submitted a report of tiles which have been broken in the sewage beds. This situation is under investigation. Kimberly Clark advised Council there has been a general increase in company owned houses, two of which are rented to Municipal employees. The increase in rent will be passed on t®the tenants . A letter from Gordon Dodge outlined travel insurance for Municipal employees travelling on Township business . A letter was sent to Mr. John Steen, M ake President of the Horticultural Society all about the previous grant made to that : society, to offset increased costs in Recreation facility fees.
