After reading their story, some months ago, they decided they wanted to: visit this landmark of Canada. They got busy and raised $150. for their trip. Then they outlined a trip to Chippewa Park, tour of the Harbour by boat, and a visit to Boulevard Lake Park. It was on their tour of the Harbour that they saw the Sleeping Giant. They left at 8 a.m.,, Saturday morning under the guidance of five teachers, Miss B. Dick, Sister Daniel Joseph, Miss M. Holmes, Miss S. McLean and Miss S. Dennison. They had a wonderful day and are very grateful to the teachers for going with them. Diane Dietrick wrote a poem while on the bus = The Trip We went on a trip On a sunny day continued ...
