The COURSE ENDS The strenuous weeks ': ended with great joy Angel Ss Harp when the Chistophers ¥ Public Speaking Course came to an end with a banquet held at the Schreiber Hotel, Tuesday February 18th. The class Instructors were Mr. G. Banning, Mr. Rolly Sinotte back row and Mr. Phil Stuart(missing) The Spiritual Director was Rev. J. Cano. The organ- izors were Mrs. Janet Kulmatycki and Sister St. Timothy(back row) Graduating from the course were Mr. T. Borutski and Mr. J. Guina, Mrs. L. Stuart, Mrs. R. McGrath and Mrs. J. Turner(front row left to right). The course will be given again but this time in Terrace Bay. PAGE 13 © HESS CHAMPIONSHIP - Holy Angels School held a chess championship. There were approximently 20 boys from grade 7 and 8 playing.In the finals Victor Dukes and Ronnie Chicoine played off in the best out of three games. Victor Dukes was the champion. There was also a B event where Lorne Bourke and Jim Power played. Lorne Bourke was the winner here. In the picture is Victor Dukes left and Ron Chicoine right. LATEST ADDITION - SIX GUINEA PIGS The latest addition to Holy Angels School enrolment is six young guinea pigs. The little animals are in all the primary rooms. The children are not only learning to love a pet but they are also learning that love mea caring for. These vegetarians eat about four times their weight daily. That is quite a pile of lettuce leaves. The children are also responsible for keeping the homes of the animals clean.
