Work bega J on it a few days ago and already the frame is complet éd. It is expected to be in use by October 15th of this year. This classroom will be a great asset to the student body. Our thanks goes out to Farquhar Con- struction Co. Ltd. our school board and our council for this project. Sports - On September 14th, Schreiber High compet- Bs in a Golf. Tournament at Marathon. Those taking part were : Larry Power, Bob Nesbitt, Trent Desaul- niers, David Bromley and Len Christainson. Schook competing were Schreiber, Marathon, Wawa and Ter- race Bay, with Marathon placing first. Low score was won by Trent Desaulniers of $.H.S. (Congratula- tions Trent!) TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 15 Social Events - The Student's Council sponsored their first dance of the year in the school auditorium on Friday, September 20th. Students from Schreiber afd Terrace Bay, along with their guests danced to the music of the Thorns which proved to be an excellent band. Chaperoning were Mr. Stewart, the principal, Mr. Gouthro, Miss Goodhead, with Mr. Tessier tak- ing pictures. We feel quite sure everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly and the outgoing student coun- ' cil certainly deserves a vote of thanks for their efforts; Pictured in the photo across the bottom of this page, } are some grade 9 students who attended Schreiber High School Opening Dance.
