Follow- ing the business meeting, a hairstyling demonstration James Harris Haughn passed away on January 13, in the Terrace Bay Hospital after a lenghty illness, at the age of 68. Mr. Haughn was born in 1900, near Liverpool, Nova Scotia. He had resided in Terrace Bay for twenty years. Before his retirement in 1965, he was head machinist at the Kimberly Clark Mill. He is survived by his wife Eva, Daughters Barbara, at home, and LaVaughn, Mrs. E. West, of Terrace Bay, and two grandchildren. He was a member of Terrace Bay Lodge, 662, A.F. & A.M., and Past Patron of Silver' Birch Chapter, O.E.S. Fraternal services were conducted in the Community Church on Sunday. The funeral service was conducted on Monday on Monday afternoon in Terrace Bay Community Church with Rev. R.J.S. Inshaw of Nipigon and Rev. T.G. Husser officiating. The church Choir was present and Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss was organist. tributes were recieved. Pall bearers were A. Farrow, R. Wills, F. Cruick Many floral shank, L. Crandelmire, $. Zwaresh and C. Hale. Interment was in Terrace Bay Cemetary. CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE The regular meeting of St. Martin's Parish Council of the C .W.L. was held on January 13th in the Parish Hall, preceded by the Rosary.
