These games were played with the Terrace girls meeting the Wawa girls. In the first game Wawa took the lead at the start with a 3-2 score. Terrace overtook Wawa and won the game 15-6. In the second game the tables were turned with Terrace out in front at first, but Wawa pushed them back to win 15-12. : Terrace started in the lead in the third game. Wawa had it tied for a while but Terrace straighten- ed up and won 15-4. So, the girls' trophy won't do any travelling for a while. A tasty lunch was supplied for the visitors by the students of T.B.H.S. Geraldton boys, Wawa boys and girls and Terrace Bay girls' teams all took part. In the first game, Geraldton boys locked horns with the Wawa Vikings. The Geraldton team took the lead and maintained it to win the game 15-11. The second game of the best of three was kept close at the start of the game with an early tie. Wawa came up quickly to break the tie and held their lead to win the second game 15-9. Wawa started off strongly in the third game with a score of 3-0 but Geraldton organized themselves and tied it up. The play was dominated by strong hand blocks and quick recoveries.
