September 14, 1967 WEEKLY REPORF FROM THE SCHREIBER DETACHMENT Total Duty Hours - 216. Highway and Secondary Roads Patrolled - 3,029 miles. Investigations - Breaking & Entering N il. Thefts - one investigation carried out concerning theft of Highway's Department roadside picnic table which was located through investigation. Lost property - Assistance rendered in attempt to locate valuable rings lost at roadside look-out area near Marathon, by tourists visiting this area. Traffic - Two property damage accidents occurred in Schreiber area resulting in approximately $1000. damage. No injuries were sustained. 13 charges under the provisions of the Highway Traffic Act were laid as the result of accidents and various offences. A total of 70 vehicles were safety checked and warn- ings were issued in 29 cases. Assistance to transients was given to 5 persons, in the form of meal tickets through the Schreiber Transient and Welfare Fund.
