MEETING The regular meeting of Terrace Bay Catholic Wom- en's League was held in the school because of the inaccessibility of the basement during the construct- ion of the new church front. Mrs. Y.Boudreau pre- sided as minutes and correspondence were read and reports given. Following the last report from Mrs.R. Gaudet, she was presented with a piece of Blue Mountain pottery as a token from the League for her cheerful, willing service. The presentation of a sleeping bag was made to Guide Lorraine Belliveau by Mrs. Irene Kettle on behalf of the League. Lorraine then gave a short talk on the Heritage Camp she will be attending in July. The draw for the Centennial Doll was made by members of the Catholic Girls Club with Mrs. R. Corrigan having the winning ticket. Mrs. Bergeron, Kitchen Convenor, reported that six tablecloths were missing. Anyone having one is asked to return promptly. Lawrence and daughter Lynda have returned after attending graduation exercises at Cambrian College, Sault Ste. Marie. Mrs. Vida LaPorte is home from St. Joseph's hospital, Port Arthur after a lengthy stay. Mrs. Clarence Gresdal has returned from a Lake- head hospital . Visitors to the Lakehead recently were Mr. & Mrs. W. Sadowick, Mr. & Mrs. Pytyck and Mr. & Mrs. G .Nugent. ' Mrs. Aggie Sinkins attended a wedding in Port Arthur of Miss Lois Hucker and Mr. Michael Hall. MEETING HELD BY WOMEN OF THE MOOSE The regular meeting of the Women of the Moose was held June 7 with minutes being read and approved. Enrollment of new.members then took place. A delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Jackie Calder and her committee. The draw was made and won by Mrs. C. Daley.
