THURSDAY, MAY 11, 3 to 8 p.m. The public is cordially invited to purchase books (the majority will be paperbacks) that can only be purchased at University Book Stores or at commercial establishments in large centres. This is an opportunity for the people of Terrace Bay to get excellent reading material at a very reasonable cost. PARENTS READING GOOD BOOKS WILL ENCOURAGE CHILDREN TO READ GOOD BOOKS. Since that time there has been few changes made to the original assessment. All buildings constructed since 1948 have been assessed on the same basis. Many changes have taken place over the years, both in the improvement of properties, and also, in the method of assessing properties . Council feel that it is most desirable that our assess- ment be brought up to date and have therefore start- ed a complete re-assessment of all properties, using the new Provincial Assessment Manual . Terrace Bay High School Students' Council Lakehead University This then is a direct appeal to all residents to please co-operate with our employees when they call at your home.
