A slate of officers was presented by the Nominating Comm- ittee and the following executive will serve for the 1967-68 season: President Lois Shubaly, Ist. Vice President Ida Romanuk, 2nd. Vice President Betty Randa, Secretary Dora Trach, Treasurer Connie Cvitkovich, Directors Mary Dashkewytch, Donna Josus and Elaine Zwir. Vacancies for two more Directors will be filled in the fall. Our carwash dividends at White Rose Garage hit the record high of more than $50. As our last big push bef ore we leave, a Mother's Day Coffee and Donut Session has been planned for Sunday, May |4, from 9 a.m. till 12.30. Members of all denominations are welcome. MARATHON WINS BOWLING COMPETITION A Marathon team composed of Bill Harris, John Bell, Len Bissonette, Bobbi Bird, Dot Mathews and Evola MacKenzie captured first place in the 4th Annual Labatts International Mixed Tournament on Sunday. With twelve teams shooting for top spot, it was a struggle down to the last frame of the last game. Marathon put together games of 1045, I110, 1256 and 1114 for a total pinfall of 4525. D .Imhoff of Red Rock bowled a 304 to take ladies Hi Single while Hean Dahl of Nipigon bowled four nice games for a total pinfall of 979 and ladies Hi-Four. Paul Gagnon rattled the pins at a.276 average and a four game total of 1103 to take the men's Hi-Four. Stan Cizinoski of Wawa took men's Hi-Single with 335 while just missing out on the men's Hi-Four by nine pins. There were teams from Red Rock, Nipigon, Terrace Bay, Marathon, Manitouwadge and Wawa. All bowlers were supplied coffee and lunch throughout. For this, a special thanks goes to all people who . donated, servers and scorekeepers. ROSSPORT NEWS Mr. & Mrs. Phillip Forsey of Metegama, Ontario have taken up residence here. Mr. Forsey works on the section. Mrs. Ethel Doucet of Fort William spent the past week with her daughter and son in law, Mr.& Mrs. L. Langtree. Mr. & Mrs. Lionel Hubelit of Wawa visited the formers parents Mr. & Mrs. Mac Hubelit over the weekend. Other guests were Mr. & Mrs. R.Gerow and family of Fort William. Lakehead visitors were Bill Hubelit, Mrs. C. Todesco, Mrs. Herb Legault, and Mr. & Mrs. T. Seppala. Mr. & Mrs. J. McCormick and daughters Donna and Betsy motored to Nipigon Friday. Mis. Mary Mushqush is visiting relarives in Red Rock. John Zurba of Port Arthur visited the village _ recently. Mr. & Mrs. J. Douglas of Beardmore-spent the weekend with the Todesco family. Mrs. Hattie Yandon was hostess at a charmingly arranged Stork shower Friday evening honouring Mrs. J. Pronovost. Gifts were presented to the guest of honour in a basket decorated in blue and white. Games and contests were enjoyed and lunch served to Mrs. Bill Langtree, Mrs. E. Doucet, Mrs. T. Yandon, Mrs. Pronovost, Mrs. Jack Langtree, Mrs. J.
