LADIES AUXILIARY MEETING HELD nday, Apri adies Auxiliary of the Communit Church held its monthly meeting with Dr. Constance Jackson as guest speaker. Dr. Jackson, dressed in an attractive blue sari, showed an interesting film on the Ludhiana Christian Hospital in Ludhiana, India. She also spoke of some of her experiences as a medical missionary . A worship period was conducted by Mrs. Hilda Hiebert and Mrs. Doreen Kurylo. The Auxiliary has agreed to partially sponsor two teenage delegates to a Weekend Vocations Confer- ence in Winnipeg May 20-22. The Afternoon group asked ladies to make donations of old clothing, toys and appliances to send to the Crippled Civilians. Mrs. Lil Harris will have any donations picked up, before the next meeting. Ladies are invited to their next meeting, April 17 to hear guest speaker, Rev. David Stiven. A delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Aggie Sinkins and Mrs. Charlotte Slomke and committee. The Grade 8's of St. Martin's School have been promised $100. from an anonymous donor for a trib - to Expo this summer on the condition that it is used for that purpose. Thank you, from all of us, who ever you are! Wednesday, March 29, we collected empty beer bottles with the help of Jerry Kennedy who drove Caccamo's truck which we loaded with our cargo . On the south. side of the highway alone, we made $46.78. Using wagons and carts, we collected on the other side Friday and made more than $20.
