Mr. and Mrs. M. Davis of Ottawa will spend the holidays here with Mr. and Mrs. B. Lidkea and Mr. and Mrs. K. Davis. Mrs. F. Lavereau of Timiskaming is visiting her daughter Mrs. C. Holmes and family. PLAN TEA The date for their Mothers Day Tea and Bazaar was set for Saturday, May 8th, from 3 to 5:30 in the Church Hall, by the St. John's Church Women Auxiliary at the regular April meeting. It was de- cided to serve a turkey salad plate. A Bake Sale was planned during the month of April . Substantial donations were made to the church wardens and to the Girls' Auxiliary. Word was received of the Annual meeting of the Women's Auxiliarys being held on June first and second in St. Pauls' Anglican Church in Fort William A delegate to this will be named at the May meeting, which will be held in Mrs. G..Madigan's home, on May 5th, at 8:00 P.M.
