CENOTAPH SERVICE, SATURDAY, NOY.7TH Memorial Service for the fallen of past wars will be held at the Cenotaph in Terrace Bay on Sat urday, November 7th at 90:45 A.M. We urge all Legion members gnd fgmilies, veterans and other organizations to attend this Divine Service We realize this date does not coincide with Ser- vices held by other communities but, as long as their memory lives within our hearts ... "What matters a date" -- "What matters the hour. " The Legion and Veterans parade under the direc- tion of Parade Marshall Alphanse Theriault and will fall in on Selkirk Avenue in front of the Arena at 10:45 (veterans are urged to wear decorations if applicable). The weather factor in Terrace Bay at this time of year has, in the past, curtailed our Services and this year the Legion Branch has made arrangements to use the Arena for Services in the event of incle- ment weather. If this does arise we ask.the public to go inside on arrival and occupy the seats allo~ cated for the Service. All Legion members and Veterans will fall in at ice level in areas allocated. We sincerely hope the Leaders of the Local Boy Scout and Girl Guide movements will urge their charges to take part in this solemn occasion as a full turnout of townspeople is the desire of the com- mittee in charge of the Services and Parade. J. Cumming, ~ Publicity Chairman, Legion Branch 223.
