CHAMBER STILL WORKING ON TRANSMITTER The following letter was received by D. Large, secretary of the Terrace Bay Chamber of Commerce and gives the latest word on the L.P. Transmitter situation. Dear Mr. Large: Thank you for your letter of June 12 inquir ing as to the installation of the low power transmitter at Terrace Bay. The BBG announced their recommendation on May 13 approving the Corporation's application for authority to establish this station. This was a recommend- ation to the licensing authority. We are await ing the required authorization so that we place our order with the line company. I ex- pect that it should be forthcoming in the very near future, and when we have placed the order with the line company we might then be in a position to write you again indicating our tar get date for an on--the-air date. I assure you that we are as anxious as you are to get this service in operation. Yours sincerely, Charles P. Wright, Executive Assistant, Corporate Affairs EVER HAPPEN TO YOU?
