Too often, he re- marked, it is mistakenly assumed that cadet corps are organized as a means of Army recruiting, but, although many cadets have gone to higher education from the cadets, through the Army, this is not the intent. Rather it is to provide physical training to develop strong bodies, combined with learning dis- dipline and to work as a team, all assets in the larger life beyond school days. Principal O.B. Fasan and his staff and school board members L.R. McCuaig, C. Sparkes, D.J. McParland, and J.M. McGrath were gratified with the showing made the by the school corps.
