Councillor Adamo agreed © they worked anywhere and the recommendation will be dealt with. The suggestion was forwarded through Councillor Fraser to have driveways of volunteer firemen on the winter snow removal list, but the idea was re- jected by Council. Councillor Wellings urged that the roads be cleared of snow and trucked away at least twice during the winter to eliminate the difficulty with household driveways, and in preference to the snow blower which ruined the boulevards with salt and sand. Council felt their main concern was to pro= vide clear visibility without the build-up of banks but were assured the corners could be cut back and visibility maintained. Mr. P. Romanuk and Mr. L. Rajotte attended the meeting. ; GOLF COURSE NEWS With the snow and cold weather comes the ter- mination of golf course activities. The work proposed for this year was successfully realized.
