'fam COUNCIL QUOTES The regular meeting of the Terrace Bay Town Council was held Wednesday in the Munic- ipal Offices with the Reeve, Mr, John Ferrier presiding. Minutes and correspondence were read by the Secretary Mr. W.F. Strutt and assistant W. Hanley. Councillors attending were D, Gilles, J. Heenan and J, Duncan. Correspondence from Mr. Ken Bodkin, -- Consumer Services Engineer from the North- western Ontario Hydro Commission, offered their new portable check meter to the public, and further reported on the completed study of the proposed resale Rate structure, which he hoped to discuss in person with Council, Mr. L. Crandlemire invited members or representatives of Council to attend a Seminar on Customer Relations to be held in the Recreation Centre December 6, Council felt there should be a representation, Mr. Pattisonf the Public School Board requested reinstallation of car plug-in racks behind € shopping centre for use of the Public School staff and was advised of the rates to install a meter, Report of progress was sub-; mitted on the Hydro Utilities Building. | _ Tenders received on the clearing cf Lot | 201 south of Highway 17 were opened and low- | est bid offered was from Henry Hermes and was accepted.
