Mrs.Inshaw welcomed the guests, many of whom were former pupils and old friends, Mrs,Wright!s husband, the Most Rev, Wm, L. Wright, Archbishop of Algoma, also attended following a Masonic banquet at Terrace Bay and an enjoyable time was spent renewing old acquaintances, The tea table was arranged with a lace cloth centred with yellow and mauve mums and white tapers. Pouring tea were Mesdanies J.Corbett, J.D.Bryson, T,Arnot and R.Spicer, Mrs, T,Wilson was tea room hostess and serv= ing tea were the Misses Shirley Jartus, | Chloe Vanderlip, Dorothy Slater, Cheryl Everitt, Sylvia Harness and Marlene Birch, The kitchen committee were Mesdames C. Lunch followed, served by the memberse OFFICERS! TEA HELD BY SILVER BIRCH CHAPTER. Silver Birch Chapter, 0.E.S., Terrace Bay, held their Officer's Tea on Saturday in the United Church Hall. Mrs, E,Harris, Assoc.Matron, was Convenor and assisted Mrs, N.Thrower, Worthy Matron, in welcoming the guests. The tea table was covered with a lace cloth and centered with a floral arrangement offset by yellow tapers. Pouring tea were Miss B.Haughn, Mrs.D.Rummery, Mrs,.H.Wallace and Mrs, I.Marsh. Serving at the individual tables were Mesdames L.Smith, R.Cringle, A. Farrow, A,Sinkins, S,Brown and L.Corbett. Looking after kitchen arrangements were Mesdames M,Jarva, J.Macadam, M.Bryant, J. Roberts and F.Bryson. Mrs. S,Boyd and Mrs. A.Bryson attended the Candy Table and Mrs. A,Bailey was in charge of the cash bowl. officers wore yellow rose corsages. The door prize was won by Mrs,A.Caccamio. All Mr.Fred Kelly of Fort William and Mr.& Mrs.George Moore (the latter spent the winter in Florida) are residing at their Camps on Walker Lake, . George Riley, Forrest Hill, is here visiting his son George and family, and doin, a 'spot of fishing. Mr.& Mrs, J.Cull and children Brenda and Brian leave this week to reside in Pembroke, Ontario. Mr.& Mrs.J.Corbett were recently visiting Mr.& Mrs.E.Soucy in Fort William and attend- ing the Shrine Circus, Mr.& Mrs. E.Glad and Mrs.W.Glad attended the wedding of Mrs,Glad's niece, Miss Iown Cates in Pt,Arthur last week. Mr.& Mrs.J. Cates, Fort Frances, returned to Schreiber with them and are presently visiting their daughter and son-in-law Mr.& Mrs.W.Glad.
