This could very seriously effect our Summer Programme plans, especially the Swimming Programme and the Playground Programme, PLEASE ASSIST US, if at all possible, by considering the matter seriously, so that you can supply us with the dates and duration of your vacation, Survey forms will be distributed soon so think about it now, please, U.S. EDITORS TO VISIT TERRACE DAY JUNE 6TH As part of a Goodwill Tour, some thirty- five United States editors will visit Ter- race Bay on Tuesday, June 6th, The editors will be representing news gathering agencies from about thirty separate States from New England and New York to Texas, Travelling by bus along the North Shore from the Lakehead, the group will arrive here during the afternoon, Following a tour of the Community they will be guests at a Reception and Dinner in the Terrace Day Motor Hotel. They leave the following morn- ing for Wawa and Sault Ste.Marie,. The tour is sponsored by the Ontario Department of Travel and Publicity. Local arrangements are being handled by the Terrace Day Commerce Committee. Following announcement by the Minister of Education of establishment of Trades Schools in this area, the Reeve had written, outlining advances made to date by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation in their Terrace Pay Mill and suggesting Terrace Day as being ideally suited to such a school due to its accessibility to prospective students from Nipigon to White River.
