On Saturday February 20 Flyers took Sups by a }3 to 4 score to win the first game---- Superiors came back strong on Sunday to win by an 8 to 3 scére(both * these games played in Nipigon) The fourth game in the series is on THURSDAY NIGHT IN TERRACE BAY ~---then the series moves back to Nipigon for one game, On Sunday in Nipigon and Tuesday in Terrace the Superiors played "heads up" hockey. They were digging all the time during their last two starts with Dobson inthe nets giving good support especially at Nipigon on Sunday. In the other semi-final series Red Rock upset the Mercuries by winning two games in Marathon last Saturday & Sunday by identical 6 to 4 scores.
