D'Arcy presided with R.C.Skinner, Town Clerk, reading the minutes and corres- pondence. A letter was read from the Schrei- ber Kinsmen Club advising Council that, in the Spring of this year, the Kinsmen are going to number all homes in the Township. The Council is greatly in favour of this and - request all property owners to co-operate with this organization, A letter was also read from the Thunder Bay District Municipal League of the North- Western Municipal Association regarding the Convention for 1960 which will be held this year in the City of Fort William. i General Accounts to the amount of $18,674 were moved paid. On Saturday February 20 Flyers took Sups by a }3 to 4 score to win the first game---- Superiors came back strong on Sunday to win by an 8 to 3 scére(both * these games played in Nipigon) The fourth game in the series is on THURSDAY NIGHT IN TERRACE BAY ~---then the series moves back to Nipigon for one game, On Sunday in Nipigon and Tuesday in Terrace the Superiors played "heads up" hockey. They were digging all the time during their last two starts with Dobson inthe nets giving good support especially at Nipigon on Sunday. In the other semi-final series Red Rock upset the Mercuries by winning two games in Marathon last Saturday & Sunday by identical 6 to 4 scores.
