September 11, 1958 EARLE STOBART. JOINS KIMBERLY-CLARK On September 2nd, 1958, Earle Stobart commenced working for Kimberly-Clark in the Engineering Department, Earle hails from Tyneside, England. He came to Canada in July 1957 and worked in Montreal: prior to coming to Terrace Bay. He much prefers a smaller Community such as Terrace Bay rather than a City the size of Montreal, Earle is a graduate mechanical engin- eer from the University of Durham in England. He is married. One of Earle's hobbies is photography, He takes 35MM slides as well as movies but prefers the latter. Photography fans will probably ask him why? Everyone at Kimberly-Clark extends. a sincere welcome to Earle Stobart. DONKEY BASEBALL ARRIVES TWO DAYS LATE!? On Tuesday night this week Donkey Base- ball arrived in Terrace Bay. The event, publicized as being for Sunday, was, through no fault of the sponsoring Terrace Bay Hockey Association, regretfully called off on that date. The resultant delayed appearance no doubt meant that many who would have been present, missed. the fun--and fun it seemed to be to your reporter, who glimpsed and heard some of the excited small fry who were there, HOLFORD - MARCELLA VENDING The nuptial vows of Carol Jayne Holford daughter of Mrs. D.LaPorteand Richard Joseph Marcella, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A.
