L g/t Drea ee It appears to be an accepted prac- tice when residents unload refuse at the town dump, they set fire to it. This is extremely hazardous as far as fire is concerned, and is also illegal. The only person authorized to start or' promote a fire at the town dump, is the attendant. This arrangement is in the interest of every resident of the town, and will be strictly enforced. All refuse will be removed from residences by the regular garbage pick-up provided it is in suitable containers. This method is recommended rather than individuals taking their own refuse to the dump. Large items' of metal scrap, such as ear bodies, stoves, etc. should not be taken to the dump area under any circum- stance. The Service Dept. at the Mill, if contacted, will remove the same at no expense to the residents. Your cooper- ation will be most helpful.
