Add 1 can each Cream of Mushroom and Tomato Soups, 1 soup can,water, 1 minced garlic clove; heat. Blend with 3 cup shredded sharp process cheese and 4 lb. spaghetti (cooked, drained) in 3 gt. casserole; top with' 4 cup more cheese. Bake at 350°F. about 30 min. or till bubbly. 6 servings. 3 Be a a AROUND THE TOWN A surprise party was heId°on Friday July llth at the Moose Hall.to celebrate the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Helene and Don Boudreau. Upon entering the hall Helen received a corsage from Lil Harris and Don a boutonniere from Lois Haviland while the Anniversary Waltz was being played. Seventy-five persons attended which was organized by Regi Gombola, Ev. Garvin, Lois Haviland and Elaine Roy from among Don's co-workers in the " Electrical Dept., their wives and friends, During-the evening the couples enjoyed dancing and at midnight sat down to a buffet supper. Peter Gombola proposed a toast to Helene and Don, and presented then with two modern drop lights and twenty-five silver dollars. The Boudreaus received many cards of congratulations. Lil Harris was the convenor of the buffet. Congratulations are in order for Rena Reid and Fd McAdam who announced their engagement last week. They will be married on August 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Melanson of Kap- uskasing were weekend visitors at the Ted Browns. Suellen and Julia Shewtz of Nipigon have been visiting with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John DeLaronde for the past week, along with their chum, Amy Manilla. They will return home on Thursday. _Joanne Haviland celebrated her 7th birthday with a party on Wednesday, vuly "9th with fifteen of her friends attending. Pat Simier and Margo Anderson assisted with eonducting the games and serving' the birth- day cake and luncheon. On Thursday Joanne left. for Port Arthur to spend three weeks with her grandparents, aes 8 rere and Mrs. P, Ts Bake, Mrs. Dorothy Ballentine had a party on Tuesday, July 15th for her daughter Linda on the occasion of her 7th birthday. Thirteen chums arrived'to play party games and partake of the birthday cake and treats. Cec Simms, with 'children Donald and Cathy, is home from Sarnia visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. Boudreau. Mrs. Bruce Carroll of Kentville, N.S. is spending a few weeks visiting with her daughter, Betty Turner and family. 'Ann and Leon Checkryn, with Leon Jr. and Barbara Ann are home from their hol- idays spent in Winnipeg with Leon's parents. Mr. and Mrs. M. Checkryn, -stopping in Ramegds and Duluth on their retum. Mr. and Mrs. George Spiess of Fort William are spending a few days with their daughter, Doreen Kurylo and family. home of Ruth and have been their and Mrs. Henry Aho Kapuskasing. Visitors at the Eino Trudeau recently niece and nephew, Mr. and daughter April of The, Aho's took Brenda Trudeau back with them for a visit, and she returned with Mr. and Mrs, Rudy Peterson and their girls of Kaministiguia. Ruth Trudeau's brother, Clyle Jackson and his family of Port Arthur were weekend visitors, and Joyce Peterson of Kaministiquis remained a week with the Trudeaus. Dorothy and Charlie Koski with sons Keith and Marvin. and Dorothy's mother, Mrs. C. Mitchell have returned from their vacation trip "to Neepawa for a visit with Dorothy's sisters, Mrs. George Pollock and Mrs. J.
