At the present time it is indef- inite as to whether or not the Senior League will consist of four or five teams. If the League consists of four teams they will be Westfort, East Ends, Red Sox, and Terrace Bay. If it is a five team League the Husky-Giants will be added to the above four. Regardless of how many teams are in the League Terrace will open their season on May 25th at Terrace Bay with a double- header. Their opponents will be either the Husky-Giants or the East Ends. ' There are some very fine baseball players in Terrace Bay and this will be the first opportunity for them to participate in an organized league. There will also be players from neighboring communities who will be trying out for the teams. Any persons, outside of ball players, who wish to participate in this baseball organization are asked to contact Jack Thomas as soon as possible. : To make this team a success, workers and helpers along with community support are necessary. * * Would everybody havi ng baseball uniforms please turn them in to Ken Ward at the Recreation Centre. SOFTBALL MEETING TUESDAY An organizational meeting for Softball will be held at 8 p.m., in the Large Meeting Room of the Recreation Centre, Tuesday. BE THERE}! This is the 3rd and last meeting in an attempt to form a Softball Executive for 1958. If this one fails to succeed, it will be taken for granted that no one in Terrace Bay is interested in playing softball this summer. Here's your chance either to make or break it. As a special feature of the meeting, the "1957" WORLD SERIES FILMS" will be shown. This is last year's series between Milwaukee and the Yankees. LET'S GET OUT TO THIS MEETING. eS eee LOYSL ORDER OF MOOSE SPONSOR MOTHER'S DAY BALL -- FRIDAY MAY 9TH. Friday May 9th at 9:00 p.m., the Moose Hall will be the scene of the Annual Mother's Day Dance. This event will feature a well-known Lakehead Orchestra and Vocalist, Food and Refreshments will be available, - Tickets on Sale at the Door - $2.50 per couple - Cabaret Style.
