STAFF CHANGES ANNOUNCED IN THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT Mr, J. C,. Wig, Mill Manager, has announced the following staff changes in the Technical Department of the LongLac Pulp and Paper Company. Effective September lst, 1956 Parker Gray, Technical Superintendent will return to the United States to the Pulp Laboratory of Research and Development Division, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Neenah, Effective the same date, John Wade will become Technical Superintendent of the Terrace Bay Mill. Mr, David Amos, recently of Port Alberni, B.C, has been hired to fill the position of Instrument Engineer in the Technical Department, He will start work next Monday, July 23rd. Mr. Amos is a 1950 graduate of the University of British Columbia in Chemical Engineering and since that time has been employed by MacMillan and Bloedel at their Port Alberni kraft pulp mill, His most recent position there was as Chief Chemist, He and his family will live temporarily at the Hotel but when settled will be at 267 Kenogami Road, . Mr, John Shivas, recently of Don Mills, Ontario, has been hired as a Control Chemist in the Technical Depart- ment and plans to arrive in Terrace Bay, Thursday, July 19th, Mr. Shivas has obtained both B.S, and M.S. degrees in Chemistry at the University of Toronto and has had technical positions with Polymer Corp- oration, United Fruit Company and McPhar Geophysics, He and his family will be living at 117 Laurier Avenue, 0-0-0 Page 8 DOCTOR F. W. RUNDLE TAKES UP RESIDENCE IN TERRACE BAY Dr. "Bill" Rundle arrived in Terrace Bay recently to begin practice in con- junction with Dr, McCausland. Doctor Rundle is married and will live at 75 Hudson Drive, He is a graduate of the University of Toronto Medical School, and interned for one year at the Toronto East General Hospital. He hails from Bowmanville, Ontario.
