AROUND_THE TOWN (Coni. ) Phyllis and Jack Kelty returned home Monday from Kapuskasing where they had visited for the past week with Irma and Lloyd: Davidson, Mr, and Mrs, Maurice Boivin with Diane and Carol returned on Monday from their motor trip to Timmins, Ontario where they spent the Christmas holidays with Mrs. Boivin's parents Mr. and Mrs. 0. Lacroix. Mr. and Mrs, Lacroix returned to Terrace Bay with them and will visit here the remainder of the week, The Bob Wallwin's had as. their guests for Christmas, Glad's parents, Mr, and Mrs. R. Monteith with Bob and Dale, and her sister, and family, Mr. and Mrs. D. Bird with their family, all of Fort William, Mr. and Mrs, Roy Knibbs with Donny and Bryan of Fort William were weekend guests of Mrs. Knibb's brother, Charlie Simmers and family. Geraldine Duquette returned to the Lakehead on Monday to resume her studies at the Fort William Collegiate. Geraldine had be:n the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Vic: Duquette during the Christmas holidays. Ann and Leon Checkryn with Barbara Amn. and Leon Jr. spent the Christmas week- end with Ann's parents, Mr, and Mrs, John Dika in Fort William, Mr. and Mrs. J. E, Campbell with Bar- bara motoredto Hudson, Ontario to spend Christmas with their daughter, Mrs. Re Kusick and family. Enroute they picked up their other daughter, Gloria, a student nurse at the Port Arthur General Hospital, Mrs. Irene Trowsse of Port Arthun spent the Christmas holiday with her daughter Mrs. R, Lafontaine and family, Yvette and Florence Begin arrived from Hurst, Ontario to visit with their sister Bella Begin for the long weekend. . Each boy will have to sunply his own stick for every practice, except for a game, At this time one will be loaned out for the game to each player and will be returned after the game. Any person caught breaking into any lockers will not 'play any more hockey for a few months. -_--- -- = SENIOR MEN'S BASKETBALL With the new year ahead, we hope to get in some games, Regular practices are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday nights at 8:30.
