COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES HELD (Cont.) to Mr, Harold Marsh in the absence of his son Bill Marsh, Mr. Kelly presented the Inter-school Touch Rugby Trophy, from the Schreiber Kinsmen Club to Daniel Kenney, Captain of the Terrace Bay Team, Vincent Kenney, skip of the winning rink in the inter-form curling received the trophy from Mr. R. Ostling, President of the Terrace Bay Men's Curling Club, A new inter-school curling trophy was donated by No. 3524 Council Knights of Columbus and this was presented by Mr. E, Cavanaugh to Phil Miller, skip. The Valedictory Address was given by Vincent Kenney who summed up the few years and its achievements since Terrace Bay High School had been in existance, and the close fellowship among students and staff, A tea was held for graduates, their parents, special guests and staff members following the commencement exergy cises, For the occasion, one of the classe rooms had been most tastefully decorated with tables, chairs, lamps and large baskets of yellow and muve mums, 0-0-0 RECREATION FLYER VOLLEY BALL PLAYERS Monday is your night for fun at the High School, If and when our local hockey team starts underway and interests change, we will discontinue this activity, Only by your turnouts can we judge whether or not this activity will continue throughout the year, BASKETBALL All players please keep Thursday nights at 8:15 open for basketball, During the recent visit of the auditors, we had the best turnout as yet in basketball, Try to get out this Thursday, JUVENILE HOCKEY This Saturday night, Terrace Bay Juveniles will be on the ice against Schreiber Juveniles, The starting game time will be 8:30, Support your future big leaguers.
