RECRSA TION FLYER LADIES SOFTBALL It has been established that our ladies softball team and all ladies interested in playing ball with hold practices every Tuesday and Friday nights in the St. Martins School ball field at 7:15 pem. As of now the Little League are not using these nights and until such time that they require them we will have our practices there, Get out and play ball}! POLLYWOGS This group is growing each week and we hope the children continue to turn out. Remember Tuesday and Thursday you all meet at the Curling Rink for a roll call then we leave for the wading pool, SENIOR ART CLUB Again this week we are holding our Art Club session, Mr. Klyppi will be present for this group to give instruction, SOCCER PLAYERS We hold our practices every Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7:00 pym, at the high school ball field, Try to get out and get our team rolling. SUNDAY NIGHT FILMS At 7:00 this week we will have a showing of another set of good films in our Rec. Centre. The program for this Sunday is: 1. Eys Witness - 10 minute B, and W. - World Health Organization under the direction of Dr. Brock Chisholm, Pretty coeds at the U, of Manitoba, 2 Frontier College - 20 minutes. B. and W, Adult education is brought to railway and logging camps. 3. Here's Hockey - 11 minutes, B, & W, 4. Hunting With A Camera - 15 minutes. Col, Buffalo, Coyotes, moose, bears. 5. Folk Song Fantasy - 7 minutes Col, - Puppets enact the narrative of 3 folk songs. --_---- = (Cont, on next col.) We would like to see as many parents get out to see the kids in action that can make it. A Listing of Events will be seen in this paper. . -_-- oo THANKS To all those who helped out by using their cars to take our Senior Playground children on their trip to Pays Platt last Friday. Without this type of help these trips would be im- possible for our children. ROLLER SKATING Our last shipment of skates has arrived and we now have skates in the small sizes of 4, 5 and 6, Now the younger children and those with small feet will be able to skate, There is no roller skating this Friday night. MARATHON SWIM MEET - AUGUST 13TH We are asking again in advance for any one who would help transport our swimmers to Marathon on this date, Please keep the date in mind and if you can help out phone into the Rec, Office 542, o-0-0 SAFETY SLOGAN Winners of the Safety Slogan, "When on Holidays Safety Pays" were: Mrs, G, Black, A.
