Such a representation at an important yearly meeting is shameful, How can we expect our coaches to work all year with the various minor and adult teams if the rest of us will not take the interest to go to one meeting? Just going to hockey games is not enough and think how much more enthusiastic the new president (Don Brearley) would be if only 1/3 of the fans had attended his inaugural public meeting, Terrace Bay has always been for- tunate in procuring good volunteer leaders but will we always be so fortunate if the general public will not take time to attend one general hockey meeting a year? o-0--o KIWANIS CLUB PLANS MORE LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS The Kiwanis Club is planning on making further improvements at the Aqua- sabon River Mowth Park. Work to be done this year includes more trash and log clean up, the installation of toilets and the building of two fireplaces. It is also expected to instal more tables and make a better seating area, If any person or organization would like to provide manpower for this project please leave your name with Mr, Cliff Knauff, The Club is also planning to do more on and about the townsite wading pool such as landscaping from the highway to the pool. Plans.are being drawn and this job will be discussed in more detail before anything definite is attempted. ¢ -O-0 YOU CAN GET MORE GOGGLES .oosucex BUT YOU'RE ON YOUR LAST PAIR OF EYES
