Meeting Rooms, in Recreation Centre To non-profit recreation groups with 90% or oyer members of the Recreation Association, there is no charge to rent our meeting rpoms for those groups. For those non-recreation organ- izations, profit or nen-profit, there will be a charge for use of these rooms, Terrace Bay! Ladies Hockey A group of Terrace Bay Hockey All-Stars in the female class are trying to help our Juvenile hockey team, They are going to play an Exhibition game giving people in Terrace Bay a chance to see some real Pro hockey. There will be more spoken of this in the next issue of the Recreation Flyer, Skate Exchange This is just a reminder to the people in town again that in the Recrea- tion office, we are now trying to handle a skate exchange. Our skates are not the 1955 or 1956 type, and are not in first class cdéndition. For those people who would like to come to see if we have a pair that may help then, all we ask is that you bring an old pair to replace the pair you may take. We would like to bring this matter to the attention of the parents at this time, because if it continues further action Will be necessary, and these lads will be stopped from entering the arena during' these periods, . u " a -0-0 rw we PARKER GRAY NEW TScANTCAt SUPERINTENDENT On January 30, Parker Gray from' the Research Laboratory of the Kinmberly- Clark Corporation in Neenah, Wisconsin, arrived in Terrace' Bay: to take over the position of. Technical Superintendent. Parker has been: with the Company Since the fall of 1951. He served for three years. during the last war in the U.S. Army. After his Army service, Parker enrolled:and graduated in Chemical Engineering, from the University of Maine. Following his . graduation he spent a year at the University of Michigan, to staph tag his Masters Degree. Parker and his wife, tae: were born and raised in the State of Maine, They have two children, both - boys, age 3-1/2 years and the other 7 months...
