FIREMEN HELPLESS . _ Chief L. J. Jessome of the Sydney Mines volunteer fire department, six miles from the Reshore home, said his brigade was on the scene in 10 minutes but "the fire was going so strong we couldn't have done anything if we'd had an unlimited supply of water, Chief Jessome said Reshore told him he had gone to work and that the ll-year-old boy had awakened and had gone downstairs. Thinking the fire was out, he had thrown gasoline into the stove.
