Volume 8, No, 7 LARGEST CIRCULATION Oar | ¥ | | Final plans have been checked and re- checked and everything appears to be in order for the Community Safety Celebration which will take the form of a Dance on Fri- day night and a Children's Show Saturday morning, The Dance (from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.) will feature music by the Northern Knights qug- mented by a number of young local musical enthusiasts, This event will be staged in the new High School suditorium, Everything is "on the house" including the dancing, checking and soft drinks, st 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. there will be draws. for total of 20 good prizes which have been on display during the week in the Hudson's Bay Store window. All LongLac employees are eligible for the draw prizes and everyone who lives or works at Terrace Bay is invited to the dance, (No personal invitations have been sent out.) On Saturday morning at the Roxy Theatre all children are invited to see "The Wild North" (in technicolour), The show will start at 9:30 a.m, and there will be free popeorn for every youngster, Both affairs are community events and are planned in the interest of on and off- the-job accident prevention, a o-0-0 B.DMINTON TOURN/MENT SATURDA For the first time this season the Terrace Bay Club will be hosts to the NSBL Tournament, and very timely it is too, with the new High School Auditorium all ready with its fine 3 courts for the occasion, Games will get underway at 7:30 PM. This race is open to any team made up of a Bantam, Midget and two Peewees, Any Bantam can enter a team. The skaters must skate in the following order - peewee, midget, bantam, peewee.
