LADIES FIVE PIN BOWLING - JANUARY 6TH The Ladies League started off a new series this week with the Whirlers leading with 4 points, Terrors second with 3 points, Sure Shots next with 1 point and the Goodgals got off to a slow start with no points, Jan Hall had high game of 214 with a 554 series, Ann Checkryn had second high game of 206 and a high series of 569, Joey Semeniuk had a nice series of 545. WEEK OF JANUARY 13TH The Ladies 5-Pin League completed the second week of their second series on Tues- day. To date the Terrors and Whirlers are tie for first place with 7 points each, the Sure Shots have 2 points and the Goodgels 0. To this he added scores of 228 and 152 for the high triple of 664. The Barbers also rolled the high triple of the week with 3028, On the whole it looked as though the boys are not quite recovered from the holiday spirits, Although the Cats rolled 2 games over 1000 it wasn't good enough to keep the Barbers from taking 3 points, Mazza's and Steam split points both rolling gemes over the 1000 scratch mark in the 2nd game. The Snowbanks mannged to take 3 points from the Rat Portage. This wes anyone's game until around the 6th frame in the 3rd geme when the Snow Banks forged ahead, Hydro were in there punching to take 3 points from the Whizbangs.
