Any persons interested in playing, coaching, menaging or just plnin hecklin' are asked to contact Murdo Camp- bell, Frank Whitfield or Ossie Dalzell. Or, if that is not convenient you might just put your name on a piece of paper and drop it into either one of the T,B, News boxes located at the Time Clocks and in the Bay. Some thought has been given to having an Inter-departmental league, or some simi- lar set-up. However, before we can do any- thing on it at all, we must know how many people are interested and what your wishes are, 0-0-0 KNOW YOUR BENEFIT PLANS (No, 3 of a series of articles giving LongLac Pulp & Paper Co, Ltd. employees interesting information and sidelights on the various benefit plans in force at the Terrace Bay Mill, Offices, Hospital and Hotel). Continuing with our outline of group in- surance, most employees carry it while on our payroll only, and as such it constitutes a very low-cost term insurance coverage. ~When an employee leaves, however, regardless of physi- Cal condition, he can convert his policy into any form of regular insurance at regular insur- ance rates; i.e,-endowment, straight life, 20- pay life, etc. No medical examination is necessary, but the employee would have to pay the same rate for the policy as he would pay for a policy teken out at the age he is when leaving the Company's employ, The advantage is in getting such insurance despite the fact (cont.
