Arrangements have been made for the lady folks to have an eve- ning of fun in the Legion Hall at 8:00 pm. Friday, February the 23rd. We hated to disappoint the men folks, but felt that a "Stag" for the Indies. would be something in the way of a ehange, go come on and. give the ladies a break, fellows, end let them out for the evening, after all we have had our turn. (Most of us claim it is only once in a while, about three or four nights a week). The beby sitters union will more than likely complain, but then their turn will come later on. The Ladies Legion suxiliary are taking over the reins for this evening and plan a Bingo in the back room with prizes galore. There will also be games, lunch, and refreshments, So come on, ladies, leave pops and young funs at home and come out for a lot of fun, Tickets will be available by next Monday at the Terrace Bay Meat Market or any member of the executive, 'details at a later date, Page 4 MINOR HOCKEY Due to very unfavourable weather con- ditions, the Pee Wees have not had very much hockey to date, However, it is hoped that the wenther will break soon enough to allow completion of the schedule in time to have some play-offs. In the meantime, tentative plans have been set to tako a ' Pee Weo Team to Marathon to take on the best that they can get together down there. The date set for this -game is Sunday, February 25th, The Bantams have found their feet now and are winning games regularly in the Schreiber league. Last Saturday morning they took their game nicely by a score of 5-26 The Midgets are improving fast and in their last two games they have tied one and lost one, For the information of those hockey fans in Terrace Bay who would like to support these two teams in their games in Schreiber, the Bantams play every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m, and every Saturday at 12300 asm. The Midgets play every Mondey at 7:30 p.m. 411 gnmes are played in the Schreiber Arena. Admission is free, 0-8-0 CUB NEWS The regular meeting will be held in the jArvmouries at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
