This represents 413,654 man hours, with 2 lost-time disabling injuries, which is a very favourable trend, Then there is that long run of 470,000 accident free man hours from August on into December, which indicates good team work. In the Ontario Pulp and Paper Maker's Safety Association Contest for 1950 the Long Lac mill is in second position of Class "A", That represents good competitive spirit - well organized, The theme of "Production With Safety" hit a new high in March with increased pro- duction and an outstanding accident free month, That showed effort to keep Quality-Safety- Quertity in perfect balance, in the Challenge Contest between Spruce Falls Power and Paper Company, and LongLac Pulp and Paper Company, it isn't necessary for me to say the score is about 5 to ily tn favour of LongLac, All of these records indicate that every individual at your mill is sincerely in- terested in preventing injuries to himself and his fellow workers.
