A four page, semi-weekly paper that was published from 1803 to 1814.

Page 1:
• Report that documents of high importance had been found in Proctor’s papers from the correspondence between an American officer and Gen. Brock
• Col. Smith in command at Sackett’s Harbour, British have three vessels being built in Kingston
• News from Northern Army: British expedition to retrieve 3000 barrels of provisions from American territory, but Wilkinson’s force arrived before British to take provisions, and British returned to Canada
• Naval captures, arrivals, etc.

• British official notice of defeat of British fleet on Lake Erie, and of Proctor
• Return of right division of army of Upper Canada including number killed
• Excerpt from private journal about brig Saratoga
• Report on American prisoners at Halifax
• Report of victory by Americans over Creek natives
• Article claiming report that Americans attempted to attack Kingston (with Wilkinson’s force) and Montreal (with Hampton’s force)
• Report from “a friend in Halifax” of poor conditions for American prisoners on British POW ships

• Letter from “a friend” listing various naval correspondence, vessels captured, etc.
