- This document is a printed form of a Muster Roll of a Company of Infantry under the command of Captain Hugh R. Martin in the 13th Regiment of the United States, commanded by Col. P.P. Schuyler from 30th April 1813 to 31st, July 1813. The roll includes number, names, rank, date of enlistment, to what time engaged or enlisted, names present, remarks and alterations since the last muster. In total, there are 104 names listed on the muster roll, including Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeants, Corporals, Musicians and Privates. On the back there is also a recapitulation of the numbers present for duty, absent, sick, deserted or discharged. It also has a written certification of being correct by Captain Hugh R. Martin. The further certification by the Major commanding the 13th Regiment of Infantry states that the muster roll was taken at Fort George. Therefore, we know that this muster roll was taken during the American occupation of the Fort in 1813. The names on the roll include; Hugh R.
