- This is a button from the 76th Hindoostan Regiment that is believed to have served on the Niagara Frontier and at Plattsburg (September 11,1814) during the War of 1812-1814. The button has a raised design of an elephant in the center with illegible writing around the outside and "76” at the bottom. This item can be found at the Battlefield Hotel Museum.
