- Description
- This white embroidered net cap with a floral motif is believed to have been worn by Mrs. W. McCormick. It is machine made net with a hand worked pattern and would require additional ribbons to tie it under the chin. It is dated circa 1810 and is a good example of textiles used and clothing worn during the time of the War of 1812-1814.
