Description
This is a slant-top desk made of black walnut in a Hepplewhite design. The desk feature a row of pigeon holes and a drawer for writing materials as well as two side drawers in the frame. The desk belonged to Rev. Robert Addison, who was minister of St. Mark's Church during the War of 1812. The desk provides insight into the life of clergyman during wartime.
