Description
This sugar bowl is an empire design with a white porcelain pedestal that is supported by claw feet. It has small decorative floral sprigs, gilt trim and small faces on the relief around the bowl. The lid is of the same design but is missing the knob. This item is dated 1815 which means it provides us with an understanding of the domestic life of individuals during the War of 1812.
