- Sixth in a 62 part series, Sir John Caldwell’s War Belt describes Sir John Cadwell, soldier in the King’s Regiment of Foot, wearing gifts given to his uncle, Lt. Col. John Cadwell, commander of Fort Niagara in 1774-76. These include the Great War Wampum Belt which he presented as a war gift to chiefs of the Six Nations, Huron, Delaware, Shawnee and Miami.
