- Description:
- A black and white photograph of the Methodist Episcopal Church. There are several people standing in front of the church.
- Notes:
- The Methodist Episcopal Church was located at the corner of Church and Albert Streets. It was also called the White Church. It was built in 1845 on the east side of Church Street. The Methodist Episcopal Church (White Church) amalgamated in 1884 with the Wesleyan Methodist and Bible Christian Churches. At that time the White Church was closed. The church building was used for a short time by the Salvation Army and in the 1880s or 90s was moved to the north east corner of Baldwin and Roebuck Streets and converted into stores. The building was demolished in the 1920s.
