Black and white negative of a photograph showing an image of the students of room one from Henry Street Public School. The students are pictured in front of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at 508 Byron Street South where the class met between 1920-1921 during the construction of the school which replaced Henry Street School.
Notes:
Henry Street School was built in 1854 on the block bounded by King, Dunlop, Henry, and Gilbert Streets and is now occupied by R.A. Sennett Public School. The school, which faced Henry Street, was destroyed by fire on 4 July 1920.
