A black and white portrait photograph of Joseph King (1869-1961).
Notes:
Joseph King was born at Whitby on January 31, 1869, son of Charles King. He managed the King Brothers' Tannery in Whitby with his brother Theodore King, and father Charles King. He served on the Whitby Public School Board from at least 1925 until 1938. In 1952 the tannery closed and in 1956 Joseph King moved to Toronto. He died on November 13, 1961 and is buried at Holy Blossom Memorial Park, Toronto.
