A black and white photograph of W. Harry Curtis.
Notes:
W. Harry Curtis came to Whitby in 1940 as local manager of the Empire Life Insurance Company. He was charter president of the Kinsmen Club of Whitby in 1942 and was Master of Composite Lodge No. 30, AF and AM, Whitby in 1944. He was also a member of Keystone Chapter No. 35, Royal Arch Masons, Whitby. He was well known as an entertaining after-dinner speaker and was superintendent of the Sunday School at Whitby United Church. In January 1947 he left Whitby to become manager of the Kingston Agency of Empire Life.
