According to the Canadian Virtual War Memorial website, Charles Henry Wigston was the son of Mrs. Rose Howard, of Whitby, Ontario. He is commemorated on Page 522 of the First World War Book of Remembrance. He was born October 1897 and died on March 13, 1918. He was part of the 24th Battalion Division of the Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment) Unit of the Army. He is buried at LONGUENESSE (ST OMER) SOUVENIR CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
According to Alex Brown, Charles Wigston was an only child.
